Very uncourtious when it came to booking they moved my reservation without my consent

Was a fun and friendly atmosphere

Paid for the bay view room - the view was hidden behind a thick coating of webs and bugs. Toilet was not cleaned- gross and unsanitary! Pool was so small - does not show on the website just how small it is- seriously it could maybe comfortably hold two families. We couldn’t use it due to the size and it being packed - was not at all conducive to the hotel’s size. I’m surprised they can call it an pool. Indoor pool had a broken chair exposing a row of nails that cut me, told staff and hours later it still was not moved. A real shame the quality didn’t live up to the price. It’s a hazard.

We had the misfortune of saying here when we went to see the Teddy Swims concert . As soon as you walk in it feels grubby and looks grubby , pleasant staff but the bedrooms and common areas are so run down . The curtains in our bedroom had giant rips in every set , dirty mirrors, walls , carpet , disgusting excuse for a headboard , didn’t sleep well as we couldn’t wait to get out of there! Spoke to management who apologized but said it will be getting done in the refit but no date for that and also I don’t care about the refit I’m staying and spending now , at least take down the ripped curtains and clean it , do better Courtyard Erie.

I’m a Marriott Titanium Elite with over 1,500 lifetime nights, and this was one of the more disappointing stays I’ve had. The hotel allowed large groups of what looked like 10–12-year-old sports teams to overrun the lobby and pool areas—with coolers of outside alcohol (beer and wine) openly consumed right next to the pool and in public spaces. Breakfast the next morning was a mess. Long waits, minimal staffing, and visibly overwhelmed employees. One staff member mentioned they had sent someone home because it was “slow”—this was at 8:30am with the hotel clearly full and a massive wedding tent outside. Basic operational planning seemed nonexistent. Our room was dirty, with strange stains on the wall, ripped curtains, and a general lack of upkeep. To top it off, parking was $16.00 per night and a single bottle of apple juice cost $5.72—nickel-and-diming on top of a poorly run experience. The location is the only thing this place has going for it. Everything else—from cleanliness to management to value—falls well below the Marriott standard.
